Meet Ed Evangelista – Coming to SHINDIG! We are thrilled to welcome Ed Evangelista, known throughout the dance community as “Line Dancing with Mr. Ed,” to our next SHINDIG event! Ed is an accomplished choreographer with over 90 dances to his name. His work has been taught across the United States, Canada, Spain, France, and Germany, making him one of the most recognized names in modern line dancing. Ed’s choreography continues to earn national recognition. His recent routine, “Baby Likes Me Better in Boots,” won 1st Place (Beginner/Improver) at the 2025 USLDCC Championship in Raleigh, NC, further cementing his reputation for creativity, musicality, and crowd-pleasing style. With a contagious energy and a heart for the dance community, Ed lives by his motto: “Dance ’til you can’t.” And that’s exactly the spirit he brings to every room. Dawn Lesick
“Dancing with Dawn”
We’re excited to feature Dawn Lesick, the friendly face behind “Dancing with Dawn.” Dawn teaches a popular weekly line dance class in Brooksville, where dancers of all levels are welcomed with encouragement, patience, and plenty of smiles. Her classes focus on fun, fitness, and building community—whether you're stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or adding new moves to your repertoire. Dawn's teaching style is upbeat, easy to follow, and perfect for anyone looking to dive into the world of line dancing. Join Dawn and discover why her Brooksville class has become a favorite local spot for learning, laughing, and dancing together!
Danielle Blouin
Danielle Blouin is a highly accomplished and versatile dancer with more than 35 years of extensive training across West Coast Swing, Country, and Ballroom styles. Known for her mix of style, grace, and technical precision, she has built a reputation as both an exceptional performer and an inspiring instructor. Danielle is deeply passionate about helping dancers expand their knowledge, confidence, and enjoyment of dance. Her workshops are known for being creative, engaging, and accessible to dancers of all levels. She brings a unique ability to break down technique while keeping the learning process fun, supportive, and rewarding.
Jerri L. Hicks
Line Dance Instructor
Jerri L. Hicks has been a passionate member of the line dance community since the 1980s. For the past eight years, she has taken that passion to the front of the room as a dedicated instructor and the leader of the Tri County Line Dancers. Jerri is best known for her clear teaching style and upbeat energy. She believes that dance should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their experience level. Her classes are designed to be fun, inclusive, and community-focused. We are thrilled to have her bring that welcoming spirit to SHINDIG! 2026.
Arum Lee Lansel
Live Vocalist & Guitarist
Arum Lee Lansel is an emerging artist with a voice you won't want to miss. She is a vocalist and guitarist with a warm, soulful style that instantly draws you in. Her setlist blends country, pop, soft rock, and familiar favorites from the past few decades. Known throughout Orlando for her heartfelt delivery, Arum brings a special atmosphere to every performance.
